FAQs –

Q – What power source is required to run this floor grinder? A – 110-v, 32 amps, or can be run from a standard 230-v 13 amp socket with a 5 Kva transformer. It is a suitable alternative to larger 110-v floor grinders that cause the power supply to trip out or blow a fuse.

Q – Which tool holders do I need? A – This machine comes with a plate with either 30 grit grinding shoes or PCDs screwed onto it.

Q – Will this floor grinder leave me with a beautifully smooth. A – No, being a single head grinder, it has a tendency to leave light swirl marks. By keeping the machine constantly moving these can be reduced but will be noticeable if you propose to leave the concrete surface untreated or apply a lacquer or thin epoxy paint system. In which case, a light going over with a planetary grinder will easily remove swirl marks.

Q – Which is the most suitable vacuum dust control unit for this floor grinder. A –  We recommend the 110-v 3 motor dust control unit with either the bin system or Longopac system.
