Description

Lightweight Concrete Grinder Hire | 110V Floor Grinder

The Lightweight Concrete Grinder (Airtec BS 270) is a compact and powerful floor preparation machine designed for grinding and removing coatings from concrete surfaces. Its lightweight design makes it easy to transport and manoeuvre while still providing strong grinding performance for professional flooring and refurbishment work.

Concrete grinders use rotating diamond grinding segments to remove thin layers from the surface of a floor. This process helps smooth uneven concrete, remove adhesives or coatings and prepare the floor for new flooring systems such as tiles, epoxy coatings or polished concrete finishes.

This lightweight concrete grinder is ideal for small to medium surface preparation projects where larger industrial grinders may be difficult to transport or operate. It can be fitted with 30-grit grinding shoes or PCD tooling, making it suitable for removing adhesives, grinding concrete and preparing surfaces before applying new coatings.

The machine operates on a 110 V 32-amp supply, but it can also run from a 230 V 13-amp socket when used with a 5 kVA transformer, providing flexibility on sites with limited power availability.

Compact and easy to handle, the lightweight concrete grinder is a practical alternative to larger floor grinding machines that may cause power supplies to trip or be difficult to move. It is widely used by contractors and flooring specialists for surface preparation tasks on construction and refurbishment projects.

Available for flexible nationwide hire, the lightweight concrete grinder is an ideal solution for contractors needing efficient concrete grinding equipment for smaller floor preparation jobs.
