FAQs

Q – Which vacuum dust control unit will I need? A – The vacuum will need to suck up the dust and shot putting them through the separator so that the shot can be reused, Therefore a large 3-phase vacuum is essential. The one we recommend is the DL7000

Q – What power is required for this shot blaster? A – 63 amps, 3-phase, 415-v (white box with red socket). Alternatively, it can be powered with 2 x 32 amp 3-phase sockets but you’ll need to hire a drop down whip lead.

Q – Is shot blasting preferrable to floor grinding? A – It depends. Read our blog on the subject.

Q – Which size of  shot is best for this shot blaster? A- 460 size for most applications, alternatively 390 can be used.
