Large concrete floor machine, 600mm grinding width with a powerful 7.5kw variable speed motor. Intuitive digital control panel that provides all the control and precision you need to maximize the machine’s performance. Mist system for more effective grinding and better diamond consumption. Will polish concrete to imitate granite with the correct tooling.

We recommend using the HTC D60 vacuum to keep airborne dust to a minimum when operating the large concrete floor grinder.

Rates quoted are for one week. After a week a 25% daily charge is applied on days 8, 9 and 10 and then a full 2nd week’s hire charge is applied. We offer discounts on quoted rates for contractors with an approved trade account and additional short hire discounts of 40% and 20% for hires of one and two day/weekend duration, respectively.

FAQs

Q – What power is needed for this machine? A –  3-phase, 32 amps, 5 pin with neutral connected, a white box with a red socket on the wall. You will need two sockets, one for the floor grinder and the other for the dust control unit. Alternatively, a 63 amp socket will allow a splitter with 2 x 32 amp sockets to overcome the problem.

Q –  What vacuum dust control unit is needed? Q – The Husqvarna D60 or higher spec. 110-v dust control units do not have sufficient suction to contain the quantities of dust generated.

Q – Can you use this machine wet to keep dust down. A – Yes, but we strongly recommend using it dry with the machine attached to a suitable dust control unit which will take out nearly 100% of the airborne dust.

Q – Is the Duratiq 6 suitable for ripping up floors? A – It is not suitable for taking up thick layers of coatings such as screeds. We advise against using T-Rex or PCDs which creates too much tension on the machine’s belts. The Duratiq 6 is suitable for ripping up thin layers using the PCD split crushed range.
