What power is needed for this machine?

3-phase, 32 amps, 5 pin with neutral connected, a white box with a red socket on the wall. You will need two sockets, one for the floor grinder and the other for the dust control unit. Alternatively, a 63 amp socket will allow a splitter with 2 x 32 amp sockets to overcome the problem.

What vacuum dust control unit is needed?

The Husqvarna D60 or higher spec. 110-v dust control units do not have sufficient suction to contain the quantities of dust generated.

Can you use this machine wet to keep dust down?

Yes, but we strongly recommend using it dry with the machine attached to a suitable dust control unit which will take out nearly 100% of the airborne dust.

Is the Duratiq 6 suitable for ripping up floors?

It is not suitable for taking up thick layers of coatings such as screeds. We advise against using T-Rex or PCDs which creates too much tension on the machine’s belts. The Duratiq 6 is suitable for ripping up thin layers using the PCD split crushed range.
