The HTC 650 is a large to mid-sized planetary concrete floor grinder. The 650 can grind a wide range of surfaces including concrete, screed, terrazzo, marble and more. This machine has a spinning 28” (71 cms) head fitted with 3 plates, each with 3 diamond shoes spinning in the opposite direction to the main head, for a flawless finish without swirl marks. It has easy to use controls and an adjustable handle for ease and comfort. It has a 50 mm dust outlet to connect directly onto a dust control unit.

Diamond shoes can be hired out on a wear charge basis. Please contact us for details. We ask that you do not use PCD or T-Rex substance removal shoes with this machine, however split crushed PCDs are suitable for ripping up coatings and layers.

Rates quoted are for one week. After a week a 25% daily charge is applied on days 8, 9 and 10 and then a full 2nd week’s hire charge is applied. Discounts are given for approved trade account holders. Additional short hire discounts are offered of 40% and 20% on one and two day/weekend hires, respectively.

FAQs

Q – What power is needed to run this floor grinder? A – 3-phase, 32 amps, 415-v, 5 pin with neutral connected. This is usually the white box with the red sockets on the wall. In the absence of suitable power, a generator can be supplied.

Q – Can this floor grinder rip up several millimetres of screed, resin or other surfaces? A – We strongly advise against using PCDs / T-Rex tooling with this floor grinder, other than the crushed split PCDs. A better solution is the 3-phase single head diamond floor grinder or the Terrco 2000 3-phase 4 head diamond floor grinder.

Q – Does this floor grinder generate a lot of dust? A- Copious amounts, which is why you need to attach a vacuum dust control unit which will capture nearly 100% of the airborne dust. The vacuum will also be needed to take up the residual dust, left behind on the floor.
